SNOWBELLE, which was fractious in the stalls, jumped awkwardly with her head up, losing two lengths and was slow into stride. Trainer Ramsden will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. HARLEM NOCTURNE reared in the stalls. Jockey Fourie, the rider of ATTACHMENT, raced in Club Colours. SNOWBELLE lost his right side stirrup iron shortly after the start, which he regained shortly thereafter. FIRST FAVOUR raced wide on the bend. FAIRY MAKER, which raced green and was hanging out on the early part of the bend approaching the 750m, shifted out sharply off the heels of ATTACHMENT and bumped ALS BONANZA outwards. This resulted in RUSH FOR ROSES clipping the heels of ALS BONANZA and became severely unbalanced almost dislodging Jockey Lee, which then raced wide for a number of strides losing position to the field. ALS BONANZA was baulked for a number of strides when attempting a narrow run, at the 200m. SPEED MERCHANT, which shifted in slightly in the concluding stages, and FAIRY MAKER, which shifted out slightly, brushed on two occasions shortly before the finish. The connections of FAIRY MAKER called for a race review and after reviewing the patrol films from the various angles, decided to take no further action. SPEED MERCHANT and FAIRY MAKER were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
