OOLA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DIRTY DANCING raced green on the bend and was inconvenienced off the heels of PURE LIFE at approximately the 400 metre mark. JELLYLORUM raced wide on the bend. Jockey de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with IRISH ANGEL in the latter stages. Jockey Randolph reported that TERRYBELLE took no interest in running. In view of the performance of JACARANDA FLOWER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. LITE AND BRIGHT shifted out away from the crop shortly before the finish, carrying OOLA outwards and brushing OOLA. Jockey Yeni, the rider of LITE AND BRIGHT, appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take measures to prevent his mounts from shifting ground in races in future. Vet: TERRYBELLE - nothing obvious detected. PURE LIFE - not striding out left hind. IRISH ANGEL - not striding out right hind. JACARANDA FLOWER - not striding out both fore. Scratched: SWEET SERENITY - elevated temperature.
