TUVANO jumped inwards and made contact with RIVA BLU. Jockey Byleveld reported that he felt something amiss with TUVANO in running. In view of the performance from DANCE TO THE BEAT, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding and submit a report. Jockey Puller reported that LEOPARDS LEAP did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Neisius reported that SHAITAN was in post race distress. DANCE TO THE BEAT raced wide on the bend. Jockey Behr, the rider of RIVA BLU, appeared before the Board and was spoken to regarding the use of his crop in the home straight. The Stewards adjourned to review Jockey Hatt's riding in the concluding stages. ZINGZILLA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: TUVANO - returned not striding out behind. DANCE TO THE BEAT, LEOPARDS LEAP and SHAITAN - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
