PUTNEY FLYER was slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. GRASP YOUR DESTINY was slow into stride. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that LAURIE'S GOLD did not stride out freely in the latter stages. Jockey Neisius reported that PUTNEY FLYER took no interest in running throughout. Apprentice Goomany, the rider of BAROSSA VALLEY, dropped his left side rein momentarily at the 300m. JOHNNY ROCKETS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: LAURIE'S GOLD - returned coughing, and with an overreach wound on the right fore. PUTNEY FLYER - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
