ALL FOR THE MONEY reared in the stalls, dislodged the rider, who remounted quickly. Thereafter ALL FOR THE MONEY jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths. Trainer Hodgson will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement. HARRY DA WHEELS jumped awkwardly outwards, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. NO RESISTANCE jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Fourie, the rider of SOBRANIE, raced in Club Colours. In view of the performance from HARRY DA WHEELS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the colt and submit a report. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that DESTINY DRIVEN did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Anthony reported that he felt something amiss with ALL FOR THE MONEY in running. The Board reviewed the start regarding ALL FOR ONE in starting stall gate 5 and was satisfied that the gelding's front gate opened on terms and that it had not been impeded by a handler and therefore declared ALL FOR ONE to be a runner. SIMPLY BLACK and DESTINY DRIVEN brushed at the 200m. SIMPLY BLACK was carried in slightly in the concluding stages, by DESTINY DRIVEN, which was hanging in. Jockey Fayd'Herbe, the rider of DESTINY DRIVEN, appeared before the Board and was advised to take necessary measures to keep his mounts on a straight course. EPICENTRE was hanging in, in the closing stages. Apprentice Neethling, the rider of PACHINKO, appeared before the Board and was reminded on his obligation to ride his mounts to the finish. SIMPLY BLACK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: HARRY DA WHEELS and DESTINY DRIVEN - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. ALL FOR THE MONEY - returned having cast the left fore shoe and was bleeding from the mouth, injured in starting stalls. Scratched: GODDESS FAUSTINA - elevated temperature.
