ROYAL FALCON stood, jumped awkwardly inwards and lost many lengths. Trainer Kannemeyer will be advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. AYRTON was restless in the stalls and kicked the back gate. BIG BLUE jumped awkwardly, losing three lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. The saddle on MR MOON EYES slipped back in running. CLEAN CUT was steadied off the heels of other runners and switched out to continue its run at the 200m. Jockey Domeyer reported that CLEAN CUT took no interest in running. Apprentice Thabana reported that HIGHWAY ROBBER did not stride out freely in running. TIBET was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. AYRTON raced fitted with ear muffs. Vet: CLEAN CUT - returned not striding out, fatigued. HIGHWAY ROBBER - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
