The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous Race and the 30 minute interval between races. KALIDAR and DOUBLE CLUTCH were slow into stride. ARCH RIVAL was squeezed out shortly after the start and was slow into stride. DOUBLE CLUTCH was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ICE PACK over-raced in the early stages. NOTTINGHAM FOREST raced green. Jockey Delpech, the rider of ARCH RIVAL, reported his saddle slipped back in running. ARCH RIVAL was hanging out throughout and raced awkwardly on the first part of the bend. Apprentice Dillon reported that he felt something amiss with AMROTH BAY in the latter stages. TURN OF THE TIDE and DOUBLE CLUTCH raced with a tongue tie. Vet: AMROTH BAY - nothing obvious detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
