The start of this race was delayed due to GORNERGRAT being restless in the stalls, having to be removed, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. Thereafter, DANCING CLUB broke through the front gates and MIND GAMES and LISNOBLE broke open the front gates. DANCING CLUB was checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded and the front gates of MIND GAMES and LISNOBLE were checked. MIND GAMES and LISNOBLE broke the front gates open. DANCING CLUB broke through the front gates, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. Trainer Lowe was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. GORNERGRAT reared in the pens, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. Trainer Gray was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. FOREST VIEW and LITTLE RED were stubborn loading. TOUGHNUTTOCRACK was stubborn loading and restless in the pens. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Taking into account his previous history, he is suspended until recertified tractable and may not be accepted to race for a period of thirty (30) days. RED BULL KID raced equipped with alumites in front and steels behind. LITTLE RED raced green and baulked for a clear run between the 200 metre mark and the 100 metre mark. Jockey Strydom, the rider of RED BULL KID, and Jockey Marwing, the rider of ZORTZIKO, reported that their mounts were making a respiratory noise in running. Jockey Sturgeon reported that GORNERGRAT was not striding out freely in running. ZE TZAR (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. NIGHT EDITOR is a gelding, incorrectly carded. Vet: GORNERGRAT - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. RED BULL KID - no respiratory noise detected post race. STRIKE A ROCK - mouth injury. ZORTZIKO - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: BOY BOY - Insufficient recovery time.
