CATCHPHRASE jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. THEME SONG jumped outwards, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. The start time of this race was rescheduled due to the delay in the previous race. Jockey Behr reported that THEME SONG made an abnormal respiratory noise in running and as a result he did not persevere with his riding in the latter stages. Jockey Byleveld reported that he felt something amiss with CALYPSO in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. Assistant Trainer Miss Alsop, acting on behalf of Trainer Marshall, was requested to report back on this filly's condition on her return to the stable. DARLING MOON was tightened for galloping room at the 200m on the inside of MADAME ROONEY, which rolled in slightly. Apprentice Neethling, the rider of DARLING MOON, appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligation to make factual reports on anything that may affect his mounts in running. BUTTERFLY GIRL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: THEME SONG - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. CALYPSO - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
