BOLD ATTITUDE, KALIDAR and SUPREME LEADER all lost 1 length. BROKEN MOON and NEWTONS SPARK both lost 2 lengths. VIVE LA REINE was very stubborn to load. TURN OF THE TIDE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Lafferty to be questioned regarding the improved performance of TURN OF THE TIDE, the winner. KALIDAR returned post race having cast the left fore shoe. In view of the Starter's report concerning VIVE LA REINE, the starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. SUPREME LEADER was hanging out over the final 500 metres. TIME TO RUMBA shifted out slightly at approximately the 200 metre mark, resulting in MOI ISTH having to be steadied off the heels of TIME TO RUMBA. Jockey Randolph, the rider of TURN OF THE TIDE, had his crop accidentally struck from his hand by Jockey Roebuck, the rider of TIME TO RUMBA, at approximately the 200 metre mark. Jockey Taylor reported that NEWTONS SPARK choked up in running. Vet: NEWTONS SPARK - not striding out right hind. Scratched: ICE PACK - cast in box. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
