The start was delayed due to the farrier having to refit the left fore shoe on BLACK JAGUAR at the start. PETER PIPER refused to load. TRENDY GUY was slow into stride. BLACK JAGUAR lost one length. APPLE PIE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. A P STRIKE shifted out and simultaneously CAT IN COMMAND, who was hanging in, shifted in, resulting in BLACK JAGUAR being cramped for galloping room and was eased for number of strides at approximately the 300 metre mark. This resulted in CAT IN COMMAND and BLACK JAGUAR making contact on two occasions at approximately the 250 metre mark. A race review was called by a Stipendiary Steward into this incident and after viewing the patrol videos from the various angles, decided to take no further action. In view of the Starter's report concerning PETER PIPER, this colt's starting stall certificate is withdrawn until re-passed tractable with a companion. TRENDY GUY returned post race having cast the right hind shoe. BLACK JAGUAR raced with a tongue tie. NICK JAGGER raced with cheek pieces on. The Ownership of APPLE PIE should read: Mr. K Ramnah; and the Colours are: beige and royal blue stripes, royal blue sleeves, striped cap. Scratched: PETER PIPER - Intractable and was withdrawn by the Starter.
