BOLD MOVE, BRAVE LASS and BURNT PAPER SKY lost one length, respectively. After loading the runners for this Race into the starting stalls, the Starter attempted to effect the start. However, upon pressing the button to open the gates on the rostrum, due to a technical issue the gates did not open. This issue was resolved shortly thereafter and the start was effected using the same electrical mechanism. STRAWBERRYPOPTART was hanging out in the straight, proving difficult to assist. In view of the performance of CLOUDED LEOPARD, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. BRAVE LASS was eased off the heels of MARRY IN HASTE at the 1900m. ADORABLE ALLEY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CLOUDED LEOPARD - not striding out left hind. RAINBOW ROE - fatigued. STRAWBERRYPOPTART - mild post race distress.
