MOGOKITY was slow into stride. GREY LIGHT and DIVINE WIND lost 1 length. BROWN SUGAR lost 2 lengths. GREY LIGHT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BROWN SUGAR stumbled for no apparent reason shortly after leaving the stalls. DIVINE WIND raced green. Jockey Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with JOURNEY BY NIGHT in running. OLMA shifted out approaching the 450 metre mark, carrying JOURNEY BY NIGHT and SHIVRANI outwards, resulting in SHIVRANI and GREY LIGHT making contact and GREY LIGHT being forced to race wide into the final straight. Jockey Sturgeon signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended for seven days for a contravention in that, as the rider of OLMA, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to runners on his outside at approximately the 450 metre mark. Vet: JOURNEY BY NIGHT - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: CLUB BURLESQUE - not eating up.
