CAVIAR was restless in the stalls. CAVIAR, DIVA'S DAUGHTER and LADY TATTY were all slow into stride. WEST END and LANGOUSTIER both lost 2 lengths. DIVA'S DAUGHTER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LANGOUSTIER over-raced in the early stages and was hanging in, in the latter stages. Jockey Odendaal reported that CAVIAR was not striding out freely in the latter stages and as a result he did not persevere with his ride. Jockey de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with LADY TATTY in running. MY SANCTUARY proved difficult to proceed to the start and required assistance. Trainer Howells appeared before the Board and was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future she may be suspended. Vet: LADY TATTY - not striding out behind (right hind). DIVA'S DAUGHTER - coughing and abnormal respiratory noise. CAVIAR - nothing obvious detected.
