BOLD FLASH and AMERICAN PIE were slow into stride. Jockey Simons reported that DAYLAMITE was not striding out in running. INVENTIVE GIRL (ARG) baulked for a clear run in the latter stages. Apprentice Munger reported that SAVANNAH MONTANA made a respiratory noise. DANIELLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SOPHIA GRACE and INVENTIVE GIRL (ARG) - coughing. DAYLAMITE - lame left fore; coughing. SAVANNAH MONTANA - lame left fore; coughing; mouth injury. SPANISHLILY - lame right fore. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
