Jockey Cheyne reported that ZAKUMI choked up in running and as result did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine BLACK PANTHER and CONFIDENT DANCER, which compounded badly in the home straight, and submit a report. Due to a failure of the photo finish computer and there being no photo finish photographs available the Judges had to give regard to race films to satisfy themselves as to the correctness of the. This matter will be investigated. RED PERIL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ZAKUMI - returned blowing, and fatigued. BLACK PANTHER - returned suffering from an Epistaxis and was suspended for a period of 90 days. CONFIDENT DANCER - returned blowing.
