The back gate of EMBLEM'S STAR jammed and could not be closed, causing a delay, and BABY BE MINE became fractious in the stalls, which resulted in the saddle slipping. BABY BE MINE was taken out the stalls and re-saddled before being reloaded, causing a further delay. Trainer Reeves will be advised to have BABY BE MINE re-schooled before her next engagement. In view of the performances from WET AUTUMN MIST and EMBLEM'S STAR, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies and submit a report. Jockey Neisius reported that SURFER GIRL did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that GOING MY OWN WAY choked up in running, and as a result did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. BABY BE MINE was switched out at the 150m to continue its run after being awkwardly placed on the heels of PLAY OF LIGHT. PLAY OF LIGHT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: WET AUTUM MIST, EMBLEM'S STAR AND SURFER GIRL - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. GOING MY OWN WAY - returned blowing. Scratched: FAR HILLS - under Veterinary treatment.
