I'M A LEGEND jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. KARKLOOF was slow into stride. In view of the performances from VADE MECUM and I'M A LEGEND, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the fillies and submit a report. VADE MECUM lost position approaching the 1000m when it had to check to avoid the heels of I'M A LEGEND, which was carried outwards by RAY'S ANGEL, which raced green and rolled outwards. MYSTICAL MOON was brushed by INN ACTION approaching the 200m, which shifted in away from the crop. SISTER ACT was carried inwards just before the finish line by MYSTICAL MOON, which shifted in away from the crop. MYSTICAL MOON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: VADE MECUM and I'M A LEGEND - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. MYSTICAL MOON - Epistaxis and was suspended for 90 days. DESTINATION KNYSNA - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
