TRAVELLING MULLINS lost one length. MALREBELLIO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. KING JAY was hanging in throughout. CHANTECLER became cramped for galloping room for a number of strides on the inside of KING JAY approaching the 800 metre mark. MALREBELLIO shifted out slightly leaving the 400 metre mark, carrying GLASS TIGER outwards. As a result KING JAY was carried outwards causing DESTINED FOR DAWN to become cramped for galloping room and having to be checked. Jockey Marcus signed an Admission of Guilt for a Warning for a contravention in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to horses on his outside leaving the 400 metre mark. Jockey Veale reported that he felt something amiss with in running. CHANTECLER returned post race having cast the left hind shoe. Apprentice Fortune replaced Apprentice Godden on TRAVELLING MULLINS as a result of Apprentice Godden being injured in the jockey room. Vet: GLOBAL TALK - nothing obvious detected. GLASS TIGER - not striding out left hind. Scratched: YESAN STAR - lame left fore. CATCH THE FOX - no transport. ALEPPO PINE - not eating up. BARCELONA SQUALL - elevated temperature. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests.
