MARRIAGE VOWS was slow, losing one length. SHINGLE BEACH jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. SEA SPRAY jumped awkwardly. Jockey Khathi reported that SEA SPRAY hit her left hip upon entering the starting stalls. Apprentice Goomany, the rider of MIGHTY LUCK, and Jockey Wright, the rider of SUGAR HONEY PIE, reported that these fillies took no interest in running. MARRIAGE VOWS was tightened for galloping room between UP IN LIGHTS and QUICK STEP ROSIE, which shifted out slightly away from the crop leaving the 100m. UP IN LIGHTS was baulked and had to switch out to continue its run at the 300m. MISS LINK and SHINGLE BEACH were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MIGHTY LUCK and SUGAR HONEY PIE - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. SEA SPRAY - bumped left hind in stalls, returned not striding out and blowing.
