BABY BE MINE was slow into stride. In view of the performance from CHESTNUT DANCER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. The field elected to race some four to five horse widths off the inside running rail around the bend. CHESTNUT DANCER and CHRISALDAME made their run on the outside of the course upon entering the straight. PRINCESS SALME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CHESTNUT DANCER - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: NONKI POO - insufficient recovery time.
