THAT COWBOY KID was restless in the stalls. WATERWAYS was slow, losing three lengths. CATCH THE TIGER was difficult to settle in the early stages. Jockey Cheyne reported that CATCH THE TIGER compounded in the closing stages. WATERWAYS and SHOUT bumped at the 400m shortly after straightening. IMPRESSIONIST attempted to improve at the 300m between a tiring CONFIDENT DANCER and ICE STYLE, which led to CONFIDENT DANCER being brushed outwards which resulted in WATERWAYS being carried outwards. GRIS CHEVAL was bumped in the concluding stages by THAT COWBOY KID, which was hanging in. THAT COWBOY KID and SPECTACULAR JET were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CATCH THE TIGER - returned blowing. GRIS CHEVAL - returned having cast the right fore and left hind shoes. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
