JUDGE JUDY refused to load. SHINING SILVIA was stubborn loading and slow into stride. ROYAL JUBILEE was nervous in the stall. WELL HEELED was slow away and lost 1 length. STORM LILY was slow into stride. The start of this race was delayed due to the withdrawal of JUDGE JUDY at the start. In view of the Starter's report concerning JUDGE JUDY and this filly's previous record in the Starting Stalls, the Starting Stall Certificate is withdrawn and JUDGE JUDY is suspended for thirty days, thereafter to be recertified tractable in the Starting Stalls prior to racing again. Jockey Teetan reported that WIN OVER compounded entering the home straight. Jockey Naidoo's right foot came out of his stirrup iron on SNOW AND ICE passing the 300 metre mark, which he re-gained shortly thereafter. ROYAL JUBILEE shifted outwards away from the crop at approximately the 250 metre mark. Jockey Funeka having changed his crop; this resulted in this filly shifting inwards. Simultaneously STORM LILY shifted outwards away from the crop, which resulted in these two filly's making heavy contact and becoming unbalanced. This resulted in STORM LILY being carried inwards making contact with ASPEN WINTER, who was shifting outwards. A member of the Stipendiary Board called for a race review into this incident which was followed by an Objection being lodged by Jockey Funeka, the rider of the second placed horse, ROYAL JUBILEE, against STORM LILY, on the grounds of interference and bumping in the latter stages. This was followed by an Objection being lodged by Jockey Agrella, the rider of third placed ASPEN WINTER, against STORM LILY and the second placed horse, ROYAL JUBILEE, on the grounds of interference in the latter stages. The Board, having heard all the evidence and having viewed the Patrol Film, overruled both Objections and left the Judge's placings to stand. Both Objection fees were refunded. Jockey van der Merwe reported that SHINING SILVIA took no interest in the running. STORM LILY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: WIN OVER - short right fore. SHINING SILVIA - uneven behind. Scratched: JUDGE JUDY - intractable and refused to load.
