The start of the 7th Race was delayed due to SOPHIA dislodging Jockey Yeni en route to the start and bolting and proving difficult to take in hand and remove from the track. IT WASN'T ME was slow into stride. MY LOVELY (AUS) was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly losing 4 lengths. FREUDIANA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the performance of VICTORY TAKEOVER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. ASCOT CHARM was hanging in on the early and latter part of the bend and was not persevered with in the latter stages. Vet: ASCOT CHARM - nothing obvious detected. VICTORY TAKEOVER - speedy cut left hind. SLEEK JET - mild post race distress. Scratched: SOPHIA - dislodged Jockey Yeni en route to the start and bolted, withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
