The start of this race was rescheduled at the request of the Racing Operators. AMBER FLYER jumped outwards and squeezed out TOBESURETOBESURE. WANDA, LILY LAFITTE and MOIKA DANCER were restless in the stalls. ABBEY CREEK was slow into stride. TOBESURETOBESURE was switched inwards at the 200m to continue its run on the inside of MOIKA DANCER, which had come to the end of its run. BOLD PIXEL raced wide on the bend. In view of the performance from BOLD PIXEL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. PISTACCHIO had to check at the 1400m to avoid the heels of ZAKUSKA, which shifted inwards. Jockey Smitsdorff, the rider of ZAKUSKA, was charged with the contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to PISTACCHIO when he shifted in at the 1400m. Jockey Smitsdorff signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended for a period of seven days. ABBEY CREEK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BOLD PIXEL - returned not striding out in front. ZAKUSKA - returned not striding out in front. Scratched: PRINCESS ELEANOR - Urticaria. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
