SPECTRAL pulled its right front shoe en-route to the start which was attended to by the course farrier. This caused a delay to the start of this Race. SHOWDOWN KID was restless and reared in the stalls. Trainer Dawson will be advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. URBAN OASIS was restless in the stalls. Trainer Tarry was advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. CAT GONE WEST jumped outwards leaving the stalls. Shortly before the start was effected, SHOWDOWN KID in stall gate 2 was restless and reared. URBAN OASIS in stall gate 10 became restless and threw its head to the side as the start was effected. After reviewing these incidents, the Stipendiary Board was satisfied that they were as a consequence of the horses own behaviour. In view of the performance of CHASING GREEN, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer Marwing was requested to report back on the condition of this filly on return to stables. Jockey Danielson reported that CAERPHILLY changed stride continually in running. MIND READER shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. MIND READER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CAPPADOCIA raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind and raced with a tongue tie on. LADY SCARLETINA raced unshod raced equipped with a tongue tie on. Vet: CHASING GREEN and CAERPHILLY - examined post-race, nothing obvious detected. URBAN OASIS - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: SET AND MATCH - under suspension. WESTON VISION - insufficient recovery time.
