CALIGARI CARNIVAL was slow into stride. WHIMSICAL GAL lost one length. WESTERN MUSIC was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DIVINE WIND was pulling hard in the early stages, difficult to restrain. Jockey Sturgeon reported that MAKE ME MONEY took no interest in the latter stages. Jockey Yeni reported that PRINCESS BEACH was making an abnormal respiratory noise at the pull-up. SWEET ORANGE raced with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: MAKE ME MONEY and PRINCESS BEACH - nothing obvious detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
