PRINCESS SALME jumped awkwardly inwards. PECAN NUT was slow into stride. NONKI POO jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. LOBOLA was reluctant to load and had to be hooded, causing a delay. Trainer Robinson will be advised to have this mare re-schooled before her next engagement. In view of the performance from ATLANTIC OAK (GB), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the mare and submit a report. NONKI POO was continually baulked for a clear run in the home straight. PRINCESS SALME was continually baulked for a clear run from the 300m. ANTONIA'S FORTRESS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ATLANTIC OAK (GB) - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. NONKI POO - knocked the starting gates, inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. VARSTER - returned not striding out both hind.
