GREEN DOOR and INN AGREEMENT were slow into stride. SUPREME LEADER flyjumped leaving the stalls, losing 1 length. KALIDAR and K-RUSH EM ALL lost 1 length. ROYAL SELVEN (AUS) refused to load. KALIDAR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. K-RUSH EM ALL took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Lembethe INN AGREEMENT reported this gelding took no interest in running and as a result did not persevere with his rider over the final 500 metres. Jockey Daniels EPILOGUE reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in the latter stages and as a result did not persevere with his ride. Apprentice Dillon CAPRIVI STRIP reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in the latter stages. In view of the Starter's report concerning ROYAL SELVEN (AUS), the starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion on a race day. Vet: INN AGREEMENT - coughing. EPILOGUE - not striding out right hind. CAPRIVI STRIP and K-RUSH EM ALL - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: ROYAL SELVEN (AUS) - refused to load and was withdrawn by the Starter. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
