PRINCE OF MAGIC, BREAK MY HEART and CLEAN CUT were slow into stride. Jockey Khathi reported that he felt something amiss with BREAK MY HEART in running. OLYMPIAN showed a tendency to hang out in the home straight. KING'S WORLD was unbalanced when it came together with CLEAN CUT at the 250m. BREAK MY HEART was ridden forward after a tardy start and raced tightly on the inside of KING'S WORLD at the 800m. Jockey Khathi, the rider of BREAK MY HEART, appeared before the Board and was advised to allow more room between his mounts and other runners in future to ensure safety for horse and rider. When questioned regarding the indifferent performance from CAPTAIN BAGG, Jockey Neisius told the Stewards that this colt had hung outwards from the start and had raced wide from the 700m and into the home straight where it had raced on the outside of the course without company. Jockey Neisius' explanation was borne out by the patrol videos and in view of this colt's performance the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the colt on it is return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. In view of the performance from MR VINDALOO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the colt on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. OLYMPIAN and TWENTYMANJONES were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BREAK MY HEART - was inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. CAPTAIN BAGG - returned blowing. MR VINDALOO - was inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
