The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine TIAWANA TIGRESS, which compounded in the home straight. Jockey Neisius reported that SUGAR FREE changed stride continually in running. In view of the performance from QUEEN OF DIAMONDS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the mare and submit a report. ABBEY CREEK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MOMENT IN TIME - Epistaxis and was suspended for 90 days. QUEEN OF DIAMONDS, SUGAR FREE and TIAWANA TIGRESS - was inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. SILVANE SPRING - returned cut into on the right hind. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
