The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in replacing the running rail on the track in the pull up area. LORD ROSE was slow into stride. CASCIANO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CASCIANO jumped inwards resulting in ZILLID WARRIOR and TRENDY GUY becoming cramped for galloping room shortly after the start. ZILLID WARRIOR switched in off the heels of CASCIANO at approximately the 250 metre mark. HIGH STAKES (AUS) over-raced in the early stages. Jockey Randolph, the rider of RISKY ROSCO, and Jockey Kennedy, the rider of LORD ROSE, reported that their respective mounts took no interest in running. TRENDY GUY was inconvenienced at approximately the 400 metre mark. Vet: LORD ROSE and RISKY ROSE - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: VALSAINTES - sold without engagement. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
