BABY BE MINE was slow into stride. In view of the performance from CHESTNUT GIRL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. BURSARY brushed the inside running rail at the 500m. WHEREDOWEGO was bumped approaching the 300m by EARTH'S ORBIT, which was switched out to continue its run. A tiring CHESTNUT GIRL had to steady approaching the 200m to avoid the heels of BABY BE MINE, which shifted inwards. Jockey Wright, the rider of BABY BE MINE, appeared before the Board and was advised to ensure that he is clear of other runners before shifting ground in future. EARTH'S ORBIT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CHESTNUT GIRL - was inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
