MILITARY LEADER and TRIPLE APOLOGY jumped awkwardly and lost 1 length. COUNT ZAFONIC was slow into stride. CAPRIVI STRIP was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Lafferty was questioned regarding the improved performance of CAPRIVI STRIP, compared to this gelding's previous run on the 19.9.2014. He explained that on the 19.9.2014 this gelding had raced handy and had compounded in the latter stages. The Board noted that the rider of this occasion had reported that he had felt something amiss with this gelding in running and that the Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon could find no abnormalities on the evening. The future performances of CAPRIVI STRIP will be monitored by the Stipendiary Board. CORRESOLVE and MILITARY LEADER made contact leaving the starting stalls.
