The start of this Race was delayed due to the withdrawal of OSTERIA (BRZ) at the start and taking time to allow the betting public to restructure their bets. OSTERIA (BRZ) reared and was injured in the stalls. FADE TO GREY, NANOJET, SWANEE RIVER and MISS STINGRAY were slow into stride. LUCKY PACKET lost one length. GARDEN TREASURE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Dillon reported that he felt something amiss with NANOJET in running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride over the final 300 metres. Jockey de Melo reported that FADE TO GREY was not striding out freely in running. Apprentice Maleking reported that he felt something amiss with RAD ROCK in the latter stages. MISS STINGRAY was hanging in, in the latter stages. In view of the Starter's report concerning OSTERIA (BRZ), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn until re-passed tractable with a companion. APPLE 'N SPICE returned post race having cast the left fore shoe. APPLE 'N SPICE raced without a tongue tie. Vet: NANOJET and FADE TO GREY - nothing obvious detected. RAD ROCK - coughing. EMPIRE OF THE MOON - abnormal respiratory noise. LUCKY PACKET - speedy cut left hind. Scratched: UMOYANA - not eating up. OSTERIA (BRZ) - not striding out left hind and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
