TROPHY WIFE and PEEP SHOW lost 1 to 2 lengths. Apprentice Munger reported that DELIGHTED was making a respiratory noise. Apprentice Mxothwa became unbalanced at approximately the 50 metre mark and was unable to assist SUMMERTIME to the finish as a result of the left hand stirrup iron breaking. TROPHY WIFE, hanging out, shifted out in the latter stages. Apprentice Murray appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol film of the race and strongly advised to make more effort to keep his mounts on a straight course in future. TROPHY WIFE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: DELIGHTED - no respiratory noise detected post race. CLASSY LOOKER - coughing.
