RIGHT SITE was slow into stride. DANTE'S LEGACY jumped inwards as the start was effected, making contact with MUTHIAH PILLAI. MUTHIAH PILLAI became cramped for galloping room in the latter stages. WALTRAUT was hanging in badly in the straight and was difficult to assist in the latter stages. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer Erasmus was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board should he find anything amiss with WALTRAUT on return to stables. MAGNUM OPUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MAGNUM OPUS raced with a tongue tie. MUTHIAH PILLAI is a gelding, incorrectly carded. Vet: MUTHIAH PILLAI - abnormal respiratory noise. WALTRAUT - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
