PRINCIPLED MAN, SAFE HOUSE and ANTARCTIC CALL were stubborn loading. GITIANO, PATRIOTIC REBEL, SAFE HOUSE, ANTARCTIC CALL and FLIGHT WARNING were all slow, losing two lengths. Jockey Herholdt reported that PATRIOTIC REBEL was not striding out freely in running and did not persevere with his mount from the 600 metre mark. Jockey Lerena reported that MORPHEUS was not striding out freely in running. Jockey Aucharuz reported that he felt something amiss with PRINCIPLED MAN. SABADELL shifted outwards at approximately the 100 metre mark, carrying MORPHEUS out slightly, who was hanging out from the 400 metre mark. A race review was called by the Board which was followed by an Objection lodged by Mr Zaki, the Trainer of the 3rd placed horse, MORPHEUS, against the second placed horse, SABADELL, on the grounds of interference in the latter stages of the race. The Objection Board, after viewing the patrol films and hearing all the evidence, were of the opinion that, but for this incident, MORPHEUS would not have finished in front of SABADELL and therefore overruled the Objection. The Judges result stands. Mr Zaki's deposit was refunded. EURAKILON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: PATRIOTIC REBEL - not striding out both front. MORPHEUS - not striding out left front. PRINCIPLED MAN - not striding out right front.
