GERMAN LADY (AUS) and GOLDEN MIRABILIS were slow into stride. ROYAL HONEYMOON lost 1 length. GERMAN LADY (AUS) and CHERRY TRIPPER were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GERMAN LADY (AUS) became cramped and was steadied at approximately the 450 metre mark. IMPERIAL FABERGE was switched in off the heels of GOLDEN MIRABILIS to obtain a clear run at approximately the 300 metre mark. Thereafter at approximately the 200 metre mark IMPERIAL FABERGE was switched in off the heels of CHERRY TRIPPER to obtain a clear run resulting in CARIBBEAN BAY becoming cramped for galloping room, immediately thereafter COTSWOLD shifted out slightly, resulting in CARIBBEAN BAY having to be eased for a number of strides. This incident is under review by the Stipendiary Board. Jockey Delpech reported that ROYAL HONEYMOON was not striding out freely in running. Jockey Daniels reported that he felt something amiss with TRIX OF THE TRADE in running and as a result did not persevere with his ride in the latter stages. IMPERIAL FABERGE did not race with her tongue tied down. Vet: IMPERIAL FABERGE - mouth injury. CHERRY TRIPPER - head injury. TRIX OF THE TRADE and ROYAL HONEYMOON - nothing obvious detected.
