KING'S HALO jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. ULTIMATE DOLLAR, which was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. CAPE FLING jumped awkwardly and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performances from CORRIDOR OF POWER and STAR OF EQUUS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses and submit a report. An Inquiry will be opened regarding the use of the crop by Work Rider Andrews, the rider of ULTIMATE DOLLAR, in the concluding stages. TAJ AMIR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CORRIDOR OF POWER and STAR OF EQUUS - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
