JUST LIKE HONEY jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. MOONSONG MAGIC was tightened for galloping room for a number of strides leaving the 350m, between STAR OF PARIS and SEVENTH FEATHER, which rolled outwards. As a result MOONSONG MAGIC brushed the hind quarters of STAR OF PARIS, which was turned in slightly. Jockey Noach, the rider of MOONSONG MAGIC, declared the second placed horse, called for a race review regarding this incident and then lodged an Objection against the winner, STAR OF PARIS, on the grounds of interference at the 350m. The Objection Board, after considering the evidence put forward and reviewing the patrol films of the incident, was of the opinion that the result had not been affected and therefore overruled the Objection and allowed the Judges' result to stand. Jockey Noach's deposit was refunded. DANCING INTHE SNOW over-raced in the early stages. In view of the performance from SEVENTH FEATHER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. STAR OF PARIS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SEVENTH FEATHER - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
