The start of this Race was delayed due to the previous Race delay. BEAUTIFUL JET and CAPE VESTA lost one length. SUTHERFENI lost two lengths. ALINA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. UMOYANA jumped outwards at the start resulting in OI YOI YOI being squeezed out. STYLISH VISION over-raced in the early stages and was hanging out throughout. CAPE VESTA was hanging in, in the straight. THRONE shifted out away from the crop at approximately the 200 metre mark. Simultaneously CAPE VESTA shifted in slightly, resulting in BEAUTIFUL JET becoming cramped and having to be eased. CAPE VESTA was eased off the heels of STYLISH VISION shortly before the finish. Jockey de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with HUNTER'S STRIDE in the straight and as a result eased her out of the Race over the final 200 metres. Vet: HUNTER'S STRIDE - nothing obvious detected.
