Please be advised that Apprentice Penny is unable to fulfil his riding engagements at Borrowdale Park. The race was delayed due to FLINTSTONE's bridle was broken and replaced. CENTURY ICE was very nervous and is to be re-schooled prior to racing again. SETSWANA broke through and was withdrawn for delaying the start. Apprentice De Gouveia, the rider of LATERAL'S PRINCESS, completed a Satisfactory Qualifying Ride. Apprentice Haruzivi, the rider of LAKE NAKURU, completed a Satisfactory Qualifying Ride. NEFARIOUS, PRIMADORA, SAILOR ROSE and TOMORROW GIRL raced green. Jockey Manxusa, the rider of SKYPE, advised this filly striding short throughout. Stable Employee Venter was brought before the Board and questioned into the improved running of the winner, SHIREEN. Mr Venter's explanation was that last time out, it was only her second start in Zimbabwe and they ran her over 2000m. The filly was very strong and Jockey Chambers battled to hold her over the 2000 metres resulting in her running a poor race. They decided to run this filly over a shorter distance and she was obviously better suited to 1300 metres. Stable employee Venter's explanation has been noted by the Stipendiary Board. SHIREEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CARAVANSERAI raced unshod. SETSWANA and PEEDEE F raced with alumites on. The Ownership of FULL COURT is to read: Mr T Spies and the Colours are: Emerald and lime green quartered diagonally, lime green sleeves and cap. Vet: SKYPE - was reported not striding out, was examined, and found lame on right front. PENTE'S DAUGHTER - was examined post race and found to have harsh respiratory sounds. Scoping advised. Scratched: SHEZAWARRIOR - skin disease. SETSWANA - withdrawn by starter for delaying the start.
