This race was delayed to allow the betting public time to restructure their bets after the withdrawal of ABBEY and the delay in the previous race. KATIE'S TREASURE (D Dillon) stood losing many lengths. In view of the Starter's report with regard to KATIE'S TREASURE (D Dillon), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 08.06.2020 to the 14.06.2020. KATIE'S TREASURE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer P R S Waugh, acting on behalf of Trainer P Lafferty advised. Approaching the 300m, KEEP ON DANCING (S Randolph) shifted out to obtain a clear run.In the concluding stages, KEEP ON DANCING (S Randolph) was carried out marginally by MARMALADE (S Moodley) which shifted out away from the crop. A race review was called into this incident. However, after reviewing the patrol films of the race, with the connections of KEEP ON DANCING (S Randolph), no further action was taken. In view of the performance of ROYAL KITTY (W Kennedy) (7.05 lengths / 57/20 betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. HAMSA GROVE (T Godden) was hanging out in the straight, proving difficult to assist. MARMALADE (S Moodley) the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Anthony to be advised. SCRATCHINGS : MS ROSA PARKS : Reserve runner. BACCINO : Reserve runner. LA DUCHESSE : Reserve runner. FIRE FAERIE : Reserve runner. ABBEY : Examined at the start and found to be not striding out right fore. Withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at 13:33:40. 5/1`in the betting at the time of withdrawal. Rule 53.5 applies.
