NORMANZ and ONE MAN'S DREAM were stubborn loading. TRIP TO HEAVEN was slow, losing 1 to 2 lengths. DELIVER THE POWER raced equipped with alumites in front and steels behind. TRIP TO HEAVEN raced with a tongue tie. SHOWMETHEWAY was hanging in, in the latter stages. CHEKILLI shifted out away from the crop at approximately the 100 metre mark, resulting in FLYFIRSTCLASS having to ease off this gelding shortly before the finish line. Jockey Marwing reported that SNOWDON took no interest in running. Trainer Ferraris was requested to report back to the Board should he find anything untoward with this gelding on return to the stables. Jockey Chambers reported that TOMMY GUN changed legs in the latter stages and did not persevere with his ride. Jockey Delpech reported that he felt something amiss with THE HANGMAN and did not persevere with his ride from the 300 metre mark. Trainer Tarry was requested to report back to the Board should he find anything untoward with this gelding on return to the stables. Jockey van Niekerk reported that he felt something amiss with FLYFIRSTCLASS and did not persevere with his ride in the latter stages. Trainer Eudey was requested to report back to the Board should he find anything untoward with this gelding on return to the stables. TRIP TO HEAVEN and ONE MAN'S DREAM were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SNOWDON and THE HANGMAN - examined post race, no significant findings. TOMMY GUN - not striding out left front. FLYFIRSTCLASS - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
