BOLD ATTITUDE lost 1 length. SUGARBUZZ lost 2 lengths. CAVIAR BAY and DIODATO were slow into stride. RUN RHINO RUN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DIODATO over-raced in the early stages. Jockey Randolph under the impression there was something amiss with CUT AND POLISHED and eased him out of the race approaching the 800 metre mark. SCOTSNOG and BOLD ATTITUDE made contact on two occasions approaching the 400 metre mark. CAVIAR BAY raced green and ducked outwards sharply at approximately the 400 metre mark. Jockey Sturgeon reported that CAPTAIN BLACKJACK took no interest in running. In view of the performance of ELECTRIC SOLDIER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. Apprentice Mohapi signed an Admission of Guilt for a Warning for a contravention in that he rode DIODATO in an unprofessional manner by dropping his crop at approximately the 100 metre mark. In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning CUT AND POLISHED, this gelding is suspended from racing for a period of 90 days. CAVIAR BAY raced fitted with steel shoes and equipped with cheek pieces. SUGARBUZZ and ROY'S HORSE are geldings and not colts as carded. The Ownership of BOLD ATTITUDE should read: Messrs A C Nel, C Collopen, Sterling M Miller & A Smith. The Colours remain the same. Vet: CAPTAIN BLACKJACK - lame left fore. WORSHIP DANCER - moderate respiratory noise. ELECTRIC SOLDIER - mild respiratory noise. POETIC JUSTICE - speedy cut left hind. CUT AND POLISHED - Epistaxis, 90 day suspension.
