The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. CAPTAIN DEMONAMI (A Mgudlwa) was stubborn to load and refused to jump. COUNT JACK (S Veale) was stubborn to load. In view of the Starter's report with regard to CAPTAIN DEMONAMI (A Mgudlwa), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 08.06.2020 to the 14.06.2020. CAPTAIN DEMONAMI may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer N Thompson acting on behalf of Trainer L Forbes for Race 9 advised. (BN) Jockey K de Melo the rider of SEVENTH GEAR (5.50 lengths) reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. In view of the performance of COUNT JACK (S Veale) (13.10 lengths) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
