KOPI LUWAK jumped inwards leaving the stalls. GOLDEN DOLLAR lost one length. Jockey Little reported that BLACK COSSACK choked up in running and he did not persevere with his riding in the closing stages. Trainer Verdonese was advised to report back to the Board on the condition of the horse on its return to the stable. Apprentice Zackey reported that WAR TRAIL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. Trainer Tarry was advised to report back to the Board on the condition of the horse on its return to the stable. In view of the performances of TAIWAN TREASURE and ROYAL STOCK, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. Assistant Trainer Azzie and Trainer Maree were advised to report back to the Board on the condition of the horses on their return to the stables. KOPI LUWAK was hanging in, in the closing stages. SUB SHAAWES was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BLACK COSSACK raced equipped with cheek pieces. Vet: BLACK COSSACK and WAR TRAIL - no respiratory noise detected post race. TAIWAN TREASURE - examined post race, no significant findings. ROYAL STOCK- examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: CELTIC KING - skin disease. BOLD FLASH - insufficient recovery time. DOWN MEXICO WAY - injured left front en route to the course.
