LADY MING got her head stuck over the side of the starting stall, which was then straightened causing a slight delay. GOOD GIRL FLIES jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performances from GOOD GIRL FLIES and LE CALISTO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses and submit a report. Jockey Cormack, the rider of LADY MING, reported that the bit pulled through this filly's mouth shortly after the start and he was unable to fully assist the filly thereafter. TRILATERAL raced awkwardly and was difficult to settle in the early stages. ALIYSA'S PRIZE (ARG) shifted outwards sharply approaching the 200m and was straightened. Thereafter approaching the 100m ALIYSA'S PRIZE (ARG) shifted inwards sharply, which resulted in PEACH DELIGHT being carried inwards leaving the 100m. COME FLY WITH ME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GOOD GIRL FLIES - returned not striding out in front. LE CALISTO - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
