FALKIRK, LUMYA and WITHOUT DEMUR lost one length. STRICTLYCUMDANCIN jumped outwards leaving the stalls. ST THEREZ was squeezed out shortly after the start. CROWN BEARER was hanging in from the 300m. ST THEREZ shifted both ways away from the crop from the 400m. In view of the performance of ST THEREZ, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. WITHOUT DEMUR was bumped outwards approaching the 200m by RIVER EMPRESS, which shifted out away from the crop. The Stewards considered that Jockey Aucharuz had reported that his saddle had slipped backwards shortly after the start, but in their opinion this was a marginal saddle slip and Jockey Aucharuz was nevertheless advised to take the necessary measures to keep his mounts on a straight course. SEVENTH SYMPHONY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. STRICTLYCUMDANCIN raced equipped with alumite bar shoes in front and alumites behind. C'EST CHIQUE and SEVENTH SYMPHONY raced with a tongue tie. Vet: ST THEREZ - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. RAVISHING REBEL and CROWN BEARER - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: CHAMPION ALAMI - change of venue. STUNNING ANGEL - abnormal blood count.
